Michael Caine is seeing so many of his old films being remade – Get Carter, Gambit, Alfie and The Italian Job are some of them – that he has decided to join the trend.
He is teaming up with Jude Law to remake Sleuth, the 1972 mystery in which he co-starred with Laurence Olivier.
“I will play the Olivier part and Jude will have my role,” he told a press conference in Los Angeles.
“Everyone else is remaking my films, so why shouldn’t I?”
