Jennifer Aniston will star in new romantic comedy 'Convention'.
The 'Friends' actress is on board to play the female lead in Justin Reardon's "mind-bending" feature film alongside 'Safety Not Guaranteed' star Mark Duplass, which will see the dynamic duo revolutionise the box storage world thanks to the invention of a five-sided box.
However, timid Paul (Mark) and his feisty sister Abby's (Jennifer) crafty invention will create inter-dimensional chaos and threaten the existence of the universe, leaving the pair to race against time to put things right.
Ben Kingsley has also signed up as an evil box magnate who seeks to thwart the siblings' success.
Producer Paul Schiff told Deadline: " 'Convention' is a wildly original and funny screenplay. Justin Reardon's approach to the material is bold, inventive and bursting with imagination.
"Finally, we could not be more thrilled to have such a gifted group of actors on board to bring this film to life."
This will only mark the second film from 'A Many Splintered Thing' director Justin Reardon, who has just finished working on his debut feature. The cast includes Chris Evans, Michelle Monaghan, Giovanni Ribisi, Topher Grace and Luke Wilson.
'Convention' is based on a screenplay by Christopher Painter, and production is expected to begin this summer.
