In filings to the Connecticut bankruptcy court, the 'In Da Club' hitmaker has revealed he spends the pricey sum on ensuring his wardrobe is up to date.

The rapper also spends a further $1,000 on grooming as well as $9,000 on security and $5,000 on gardening.

The papers state his monthly expenses are $108,000, with a monthly income of $184,969, which mostly come from royalties and interest paid out on investments.

The star also pays $72,000 a month towards his house, $14,200 of which goes on the utilities such as electricity and gas as well as over $30,000 on the mortgage, tax and insurance for the property, the New York Daily News newspaper reports.

The star also has to pay out over $14,000 on support for his two children - 17-year-old Marquise, and Sire, two - as well as for his grandfather.

In terms of what he owes to others, his stylist Erin McSherry is allegedly owed $5,245 as well as his barber Gelpy Joel Peralta and fitness trainer Joel Cardiello being owed undisclosed amounts.

50 Cent - real name: Curtis James Jackson III - is expected to attend a bankruptcy court tomorrow where he will have to answer questions from the lawyers representing the two companies he is said to owe large sums of money to, Sleek Audio and Leviston.
