Wyclef adopts Haitian baby
06/04/2005 - 19:32:57Hip-hop heart-throb Wyclef Jean and his fashion designer wife Marie Claudinette Jean have adopted a baby from their native Haiti.
Jean is an avid campaigner for the troubled Caribbean island, which has witnessed escalating violence over the past year, despite a UN presence in the country.
At a friend's party in New York City on Sunday, the gushing Jeans proudly showed off their new daughter Angelina Claudinelle, who they adopted three weeks ago.
