UUP agrees electoral pact with British Tories
21/11/2008 - 07:17:54The Ulster Unionist Party has agreed to form an electoral pact with the British Conservative Party.
Senior members of the UUP approved the alliance during a meeting of the party's executive in Belfast last night.
The deal will see the two parties run on a joint ticket in the next Westminster and European elections in the North.
They have yet to decide if the partnership will be extended to include Assembly and local council elections.
