USI condemns anti-abortion website
02/02/2005 - 16:35:19The Union of Students in Ireland (USI) have condemned the tactics being used by a pro-life group who have set up an anti-abortion website.
The USIsaid www.life.ie contains misleading facts, unbalanced information and contains no back up for the statistics given on the site.
Welfare officer with the USI, Layne Aston said: "There is very distressing and aggressive language used on the website.”
“Life has never offered information on abortion before, they are a pro-life organisation and in the past few months have put this information up and it is not accurate.”
