Cork failed to make home advantage count as they had to settle for a point and relinquish their leadership of the table to Munster rivals Waterford.
UCD, Cork’s bogey side, were the better team in the first half with Anto Murphy having a shot cleared off the line by Danny Murphy.
Cork huffed and puffed throughout the second half with Kevin Doyle and George O’Callaghan wasting their best chances as they had to settle for a second home draw of the season.
