Three arrested in connection with death of Cork farmer

Three men have been arrested in Co. Cork in connection with the death of a 65-year-old farmer last year.

John Twomey died after he suffered a heart attack when he was assaulted during a land dispute on August 19, 2008.

This evening gardaĆ­ in Macroom arrested one man in his 50s and two men in their 20s.

They are due to appear before Macroom District Court tomorrow.
