Talks continue at Aer Lingus
03/12/2009 - 22:35:50Talks are ongoing at the Labour Relations Commission to try to avert hundreds of compulsory redundancies at Aer Lingus.
The airline announced earlier that it was proceeding with plans to introduce job cuts after failing to reach agreement with pilots and cabin crew.
As many as 1,000 jobs could be on the line as the former State carrier attempts to achieve annual cost savings of €97m.
