Taiseach meets with EC President
18/10/2004 - 19:18:39The Taoiseach Bertie Ahern and the incoming President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barrosso have held talks in Dublin.
The meeting is part of a tour of European capitals being undertaken by Mr Barrosso in advance of his official appointment.
He is already on a collision course with the European parliament after MEPs rejected the Italian nominee for his team of Commisioners.
