Swine flu programme extended to children and elderly
09/11/2009 - 16:01:34The next phase of the national swine flu vaccination programme is getting underway.
The HSE is to write to parents of children aged between six months and five years and to people over 65, inviting them to get vaccinated against the virus.
Over 30,000 at-risk people - including pregnant women and elderly people with long-term illnesses - have received the vaccine since the programme began last Monday.
