St Patrick's Festival begins in Dublin

Billed as the best celebration of St Patrick’s Day anywhere in the world, the St Patrick's Festival is now one of the biggest events in Ireland's tourism calendar providing a €60m boost for the economy.
Visitors from around the world will descend on Dublin in the coming days ahead of next Wednesday's parade through the streets of the capital.
Street theatre, music, comedy, and visual arts feature strongly on this year's agenda with the National Lottery's Skyfest event taking place on Saturday in Limerick.
