Savage recall possible
13/04/2005 - 11:26:51Blackburn midfielder Robbie Savage could be in line for a timely first-team recall for this Saturday’s FA Cup semi-final against Arsenal.
After five weeks on the sidelines with a groin injury, Savage returned to action with 70 minutes in Blackburn reserves’ 2-1 defeat to Middlesbrough at Ewood Park.
Manager Mark Hughes must now decide whether the Welshman is fit enough to start Blackburn’s first semi-final since 1960, with the game at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium.
