Mobile phone found in Gilligan cell
01/08/2008 - 08:04:09Gardaí are investigating the discovery of a mobile phone and charger in John Gilligan's prison cell.
The items were found after prison officers searched the convicted drug dealer's cell earlier this week.
Gilligan, who is serving a 20-year sentence for possession of cannabis, has been given a two-month stint in solitary confinement as punishment.
The 56-year-old was also sanctioned two weeks ago after he gave an unauthorised interview to a journalist.
