Man dies in building accident
09/12/2006 - 13:31:24A man in his fifties is dead following an accident on a building site in east Cork.
It is understood that he was working on a trench in the site near Shanagary, when it collapsed in on top of him, sometime around 10am today.
He suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is believed the man is from the east Cork area and is a married father of four.
Gardaí from Midleton and the Health and Safety Authority have launched an investigation into the incident.
