Lotto jackpot to top €15m
21/06/2008 - 09:22:53Tonight’s Lotto is set to soar over €15m euro after it rolled over for 14 draws.
It is the second time this year the jackpot, which has not been won since the beginning of May, has hit this amount.
The last time – on Saturday 26 April – a Dublin family claimed the second largest ever Lotto jackpot and brought home €15.6m euro.
Meanwhile, a Co Clare resident was celebrating yesterday after scooping €1m a Prize Bond draw.
The winner – the third ever to become a Prize Bond millionaire – purchased the bond in 1998.
The €1m prize replaces the usual top monthly prize of €500,000. In addition, there were over 2,500 other prizes awarded, ranging in value from €75 up to €1,000.
