ISEQ up in early trading
19/04/2006 - 11:23:11FBD and CRH led the early charge today as the ISEQ index of shares added 40.18 to 7851.28 this morning.
Insurance group FBD gained 60c to €38.80 this morning, while building materials gianst FBD was up 46c to €28.41.
The financials also bounced back from yesterday's poor showing. AIB added 20c to stand at €18.70. Anglo Irish was up 19c to €13.24, while Irish Life & Permanent rose 12c to €19.72. Bank of Ireland, meanwhile, was up 9c to €14.71.
Pharmaceutical giant Elan was in the red this morning, down 40c to €11.60.
