Ireland beats injury setback
05/01/2007 - 08:52:48Manchester City midfielder Stephen Ireland looks likely to come into contention for the FA Cup clash against Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday after a hamstring injury.
Trevor Sinclair and Sun Jihai are back in training following knee and hamstring problems and could return to the squad.
Joey Barton is ruled out through suspension while Claudio Reyna (hamstring), Dietmar Hamann (back) and Danny Mills (foot) are expected to remain sidelined.
