Illegal cigarettes seized in Monaghan
29/07/2010 - 17:19:53Customs officers have seized over 320,000 cigarettes in Monaghan.
They were discovered as part of Revenue's ongoing operations targeting the supply and sale of illegal cigarettes.
They have a potential retail value of €140,000 and represent a potential loss to the Exchequer of €121,000.
Customs oficials said one person is being questioned in connection with the find.
