Gardaí seek help finding taxi-driver who picked up restaurant thief
24/10/2007 - 15:29:23Gardaí in Dublin today issued an appeal for help tracking down a taxi-driver who picked up a man who had just robbed a restaurant.
The robbery occurred on Blooms Lane, on Ormond Quay in the city, shortly after midday yesterday.
The man held up a member of staff in the restaurant and stole a small amount of cash before getting into a dark coloured taxi and leaving the scene in the direction of O'Connell Street.
