20/04/2005 - 19:03:00

Ten workers have been taken to hospital in Dublin after they were overcome by carbon monoxide fumes.

They were working at the Morrison Hotel in the city centre.

The incident was blamed on a faulty vent in the area where they were working.

A spokesman for the Fire Service said the fault had been repaired.

The workers are said to be recovering well from their ordeal and hotel is now operating as normal.
