Four arrested in guns probe
18/07/2008 - 07:43:54Gardaí in Co Louth have arrested four people as part of an investigation into the sale and supply of guns.
A pistol, ammunition and a quantity of cash were seized after two cars were stopped and searched in the Castle-Bellingham and Haggardstown areas outside Dundalk between 6pm and 7pm yesterday evening.
Two 21-year-old men from Dundalk were arrested along with a 30-year-old man and a 26-year-old women from Dublin.
They are being held at Dundalk garda station.
