25/04/2005 - 12:17:10Moscow Flyer will bid to continue his winning streak in the Kerrygold Champion Chase on the first day of the Punchestown Festival tomorrow.
Jessica Harrington’s outstanding champion has won his all his completed starts over fences – an amazing record which now numbers 19.
He has confirmed his status as the highest-rated jumper in training this season with convincing Grade One victories at Sandown, Cheltenham and Aintree.
The 11-year-old will face six rivals in tomorrow’s contest including the Dessie Hughes-trained Central House, who finished seventh behind Moscow Flyer in the Queen Mother Champion Chase, and Rathgar Beau and Native Upmanship, second and fourth respectively in last year’s running of the Punchestown race.
Mrs Harrington also runs Colca Canyon while Tony McCoy teams up with Ground Ball and Grand National-winning trainer Willie Mullins will be represented by Mossy Green.
