El-Hamdaoui returns to Rams
01/02/2006 - 07:50:35Tottenham striker Mounir El-Hamdaoui has re-joined Derby County on loan for the rest of the season.
The Dutch player – who arrived at White Hart Lane in July 2005 from Excelsior Rotterdam – had a loan spell at Pride Park earlier in the season and scored two goals in six appearances before a dislocated shoulder curtailed his stay.
After three months out, the 21-year-old has featured in the last two reserve games and will now head back to Derby – although he will play under a different manager after previous incumbent Phil Brown was sacked after just seven months in charge.
