Cretaro goal sees Bohs top group

Raffaele Cretaro scored a cracking first goal for Bohemians tonight to ensure they won Setanta Sports Cup Group 2.
Irish League champions Glentoran, last year’s beaten finalists, crash out of the competition as both Linfield and St Patrick’s Athletic go through from Group 3 to join Bohemians and Sligo Rovers in the semi-finals.
Bohs pressed from the start with Mark Quigley unlucky not to give them a 10th minutes lead when his curling shot came back off the bar.
Glentoran capitalised on their best spell of the match early in the second half to take a 51st-minute lead.
Keith Gillespie got free on the right to cross and Gary Hamilton headed home.
However, Bohs responded and were level on the hour.
Ken Oman headed down Quigley’s cross and Cretaro drilled the ball to the net from the edge of the area.
