Cold snap sees drop in burglaries
16/01/2010 - 09:49:27Gardaí say there was a massive drop in burglaries during the cold snap.
In Limerick break-ins fell by a third, while in Kerry they were down by more than 50%.
It seems the icy weather deters criminals by stopping them from making a quick getaway.
