Brothers hospitalised after Waterford assault
22/03/2010 - 10:36:06Two brothers have been taken to hospital following an assault in the People's Park in Waterford at around midnight last night.
The two men - aged 25 and 27 - were taken to Waterford Regional Hospital. One of them is in intensive care in a critical condition.
It is understood they were attacked by a group of men wielding hurleys.
The park is closed for a technical examination and gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
