Bjorn to play Masters
05/04/2005 - 18:08:35Thomas Björn will compete in The Daily Telegraph Dunlop Masters next month on the championship course at the Marriott Forest of Arden near Birmingham.
The 34-year-old Dane, who played in the 1997 and 2002 Ryder Cup, has joined Ian Woosnam, Darren Clarke and Lee Westwood in the field.
Bjorn said: “I’m really looking forward to the tournament, the competition is tough, but I’m definitely prepared for the challenge.
“I’ve always enjoyed playing in the UK, the British fans are great and create a fantastic atmosphere.”
