Belfast crash kills three teenagers
15/04/2006 - 14:12:04Three teenagers were killed in a road accident in the Castlereagh area of east Belfast, police said today.
The single-vehicle crash happened at around 1am on the Ballygowan Road.
Two of the victims, aged 18 and 19, died at the scene. The third died later in hospital.
Police said the road near Roselawn Cemetery between the Upper Braniel Road and School Road would remain closed for several hours this morning.
A number of burials was due to take place at Roselawn today and police have asked mourners to approach the graveyard from the Ballygowan direction.
