Aer Lingus offer reduced salaries to workers
10/03/2010 - 11:00:00Aer Lingus has released details of the redundancy package on offer to cabin crew as they aim to cut 230 jobs.
Union officials at IMPACT were briefed by management at the company this morning, after cabin crew rejected a cost-cutting plan.
The deal offers statutory minimum redundancy packages to those being let go, while those who keep their jobs will face new contracts on reduced salaries and new working conditions.
Members of IMPACT at Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports will be briefed in the coming days.
