Gateway begins jobs cuts

Gateway computers today started to implement a planned cut in its workforce.

Gateway computers today started to implement a planned cut in its workforce.

There will be 28 immediate job losses at its plant in Clonshaugh, north Dublin.

A total of 160 jobs will go at Gateway in Dublin in the next two months.

The job cuts are part of a worldwide restructuring plan by the computer manufacturing giants.
