Padraig Harrington will take a two-shot lead into the final round of the Malaysian Open in Kuala Lumpur.

Harrington returned to the Saujana Golf and Country Club early this morning to complete his third round after a thunderstorm ended play early on Saturday.

And he shrugged off the interruption to immediately birdie the hole and increase his lead over Masters champion Vijay Singh.

Another birdie on the 17th saw Harrington complete a third-round 68 for a 12-under-par total of 204, two ahead of Singh, who also carded a 68.

New Zealand's Michael Campbell was a shot further back in third after a 71, alongside Charlie Wi of Korea on nine under par, with more players another stroke behind.

American John Daly was out of contention but acquitting himself well on three under for the tournament after a 69.
