Ulster Unionist leader David Trimble has given a downbeat assessment of talks at Downing Street today.
As he emerged this afternoon, he said discussions had centred on policing and decommissioning. However, on the disarmament issue, Mr Trimble said the republican position was still unsatisfactory.
