Arsenal striker Dennis Bergkamp is to stay at Highbury for the next two years.
Bergkamp revealed that he had signed an extension to his contract that will keep him at the club until 2003.
There had been widespread speculation he would move on this summer but the Dutch World Cup star will now remain in the Premiership with the Gunners.
Bergkamp said on his personal website at icons.com. "I am absolutely delighted to have finally resolved this situation.
"I am looking forward to two more years with the club.
"For now I'd like to thank the fans for being so patient while I worked to resolve this situation.
"I just needed to make sure all the details were right and now I've signed on the dotted line. "
