A spokeswoman for the Scottish Courts Service says an intimation of notice of intent to appeal has been lodged at the Justiciary Office in Edinburgh.

Libyan secret agent Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed Al Megrahi was found guilty of murdering 270 people when the Lockerbie trial ended at Camp Zeist, near Utrecht, Holland, last week.
