Teddy Sheringham's is hoping to stay at Manchester United next season despite interest from Fulham.
The Division One runaway leaders are reportedly keen to sign Sheringham after the striker scored the winner against them in last Sunday's FA Cup clash.
Sheringham's agent, Barry Nevill, claims he has "not heard anything from Fulham" and he insists Sheringham wants to remain at Old Trafford.
Nevill is still waiting to open meaningful negotiations with United over a new contract for the 34-year-old England international, whose current deal expires in the summer.
"If Teddy had the choice he would stay at Manchester United if everything is right," he said.
"There's no update at the moment and hopefully it won't be resolved as late as it was last year."
Sheringham has scored 16 goals this season.
Fulham press spokesman Max Clifford said: "Neither the chairman nor Jean Tigana have had any contact - in fact Teddy Sheringham has not even entered their thoughts. There is no truth in the story."
