Bord Fáilte has launched its annual drive for the upcoming tourist season. It is predicting a bumper year for holidays in Ireland.

The tourist board has kicked off this year’s campaign to tempt us into holiday breaks with an array of attractions focusing on activity, leisure and adventure trips.

Bord Fáilte are hoping to capitalise on last year’s 3.3 million trips undertaken in the domestic holiday market and the industry is expected to grow by another 5% this year, placing more demands on the already tight labour force.
