Tanaiste launches Accounts board
A board to supervise the regulation by accountancy bodies of their members professional standards has been announced.
The establishment of the oversight board by Mary Harney is one of the main recommendations contained in the report of the Audit and Review Group.
The group was set up by the Tanaiste following the Public Accounts Committee enquiry into bogus non-resident accounts.
