Young woman killed in crash on Cork-Mallow road
A woman in her 20s has died after the car she was driving was in collision with a truck on the Cork to Mallow road this morning.
The incident happened close to the junction for Grenagh village at around 7.45am.
The woman was taken to Cork University Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The road at the scene of the crash is closed pending an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and is not expected to re-open before noon today.
