Gardai are appealing for witnesses to a serious crash on Dublin's southside last night.

Gardai are appealing for witnesses to a serious crash on Dublin's southside last night.

A 24-year-old pedestrian was critically injured when she was hit by a car on the Rock Road at about 8.10pm.

She was rushed to Saint Vincent's Hospital where she remains in intensive care.

Anyone who may have seen what happened is asked to contact Blackrock Garda Station.
