Young woman dies in Mayo crash
A woman in her 20s has died following a crash this afternoon in Co Mayo.
The three-car collision took place on the N5 at the Junction with the old Castlebar Road, just after 1pm.
The woman was fatally injured when the car she was driving was involved in a collision with a truck and a mini-bus.
She was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the mini-bus was taken to Mayo General Hospital in Castlebar, where he was treated for minor injuries.
