Police in the North are appealing for witnesses after an assault on a 19-year-old man.

Young man left with fractured hands after Antrim assault

Police in the North are appealing for witnesses after an assault on a 19-year-old man.

The incident happened shortly before 8pm last night when three masked men attacked the victim in Newtownabbey, Co Antrim.

The three were armed with iron bars.

The victim is receiving hospital treatment, with suspected fractures to both hands.
