Work has begun on Dublin's Poolbeg incinerator, as locals against the project prepare to march on the Dáil tomorrow.
The incinerator was granted planning permission seven years ago, but it has hit major hurdles in the form of legal action, financial trouble and political opposition.
The €600m project could start processing waste in late 2017.
However, those who oppose it are planning further legal action, believing the plant is in breach of planning laws.
