A woman has been released without charge following a drug seizure in Limerick.

Gardaí found drugs worth an estimated €29,000 during a search of a house in Caherdavin in Limerick last night.

Cannabis herb with a street value of €20,000 and Xanax tablets worth €9,000 were discovered on the premises.

A woman in her late 20s was arrested at the scene and has been released without charge this afternoon.

A file is being prepared for the DPP.
