Woman dies in Louth car accident

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a 35-year-old woman died in a crash in Co. Louth last night.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a 35-year-old woman died in a crash in Co. Louth last night.

The two-car collision happened on the Dunleer to Monasterboice road at around 10.15pm last night.

The female driver of the other car was rushed to hospital where she is said to be in a serious condition.

The road is closed in both directions for a technical examination.
