A woman has died following a car crash on the main Cork to Limerick road this morning.

A woman has died following a car crash on the main Cork to Limerick road this morning.

The woman, who is believed to be in her 30s, was driving a car that crashed into a tree near Croom just after 9am.

The road has been closed for technical examinations.
