Gardaí investigating a suspicious fire at a house in Drogheda Co. Louth yesterday have arrested a fourth person.

Meanwhile, three men arrested yesterday evening in relation to this incident were released this evening without charge.

A woman in her 70s suffered severe burns and is in a serious condition after a fire broke out at her house on Chord Road in the town yesterday morning.

A neighbour has been praised for his heroic actions after he went into the burning building to rescue the woman.

A 26-year-old woman was arrested this evening in Drogheda and is being detained at Drogheda Garda station.
