Woman and three children forced to jump from upstairs window to escape Dublin house fire

Gardaí say four people have been taken to hospital following a housefire in Dublin.

The blaze broke out in the early hours of the morning on Captain's Road in Crumlin.

A woman in her 40s and three teenagers had to jump from an upstairs window to escape the fire.

The woman was taken to St James' Hospital suffering from leg injuries, while the teenagers - two boys and a girl - are being treated for the effects of smoke inhalation at Crumlin Children's Hospital.

Dublin Fire services say a total of six people were rescued from the fire. It is not yet known whether anyone else was injured.
