A woman and a teenager are in a serious condition in hospital following a stabbing incident in Dublin this morning.

A woman and a teenager are in a serious condition in hospital following a stabbing incident in Dublin this morning.

It happened at around 10am, just off the Coultry Road in Ballymun.

The 45-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy were taken to the Mater Hospital, where their condition is described as serious but stable.

No arrests have been made and Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
