Woman accidentally buys second winning lottery ticket

A Wicklow woman is counting her lucky stars after it turned out she'd won big on the EuroMillions - twice.

The National Lottery said the woman forgot she had already bought a ticket for last Tuesday's draw, so she bought a second ticket with exactly the same numbers.

It was thought that two Irish people had won €59,000 after matching 5 numbers and 1 "Lucky Star".

But it turns out that the two tickets were bought by the same woman, who is choosing to stay anonymous as she enjoys her winnings of nearly €119,000.
